positive psychology postcards - art
Four sculptural pieces, made of wood and air plants, exhibited as postcards. The backs of the postcards contain a couple of sentences about a positive psychology concept. Hopefully, the imagery on the postcard will be associated with the concept in the text and act as a subtle reminder.

The Serenity Prayer. In this image, I have chosen plants in varying degrees of health. They are precariously balanced on the branch, the larger one in the middle is encourage the two on the left. They all look a little tired while traveling down along a difficult path. I continue to water all of them, except for the little one.
Humor. While making a guitar foot stool, I sent this photo with the message "exploding stool" to my children. They groaned, but I know they were laughing inside. Salvaged pine planks showing the hand cut joinery just prior to assembly.
